I had the opportunity to modify a client’s R8! I only have a couple of pictures from how it started, but the transformation included a full wrap, a carbon kit, new wheels, and ECU programming for the wing, plus some little touches. I’ve always been a fan of the R8 in its stock form, but this one just hits different. What do you all think?
The wheels on the render looked horrendous, but they turned out pretty great.
It’s the black lips. I was so glad to see they went full silver for the real thing.
For sure! The black lips on the render made it look out of a Ripley’s Believe It or Not horror show, whereas the finished product is out of the Victoria’s Secret catalog.
Agreed, the render does not do this car justice.
Why get rid of the Kemora Grey?
‘Yes, we have red, black, white, and then about 15 shades of primer to choose from for your new car, which color would you like?’
Damn, hate it. BMW does not offer a single silver color across the board, not even individual can get you a real silver, like Silverstone II.
And the wheels looked way better before.
Grey is played out honestly.
One of the few cars that needs no modifications to its appearance, but here we are.
With that spoiler and bigger side intakes, the front looks a bit dull. I would honestly add a front lip to balance everything out.
It does need one, I agree, but he uses the car and here in Texas the potholes and angles we have to deal with are wild. He’s still learning, and once he’s comfortable with it, we may throw one on.
Grey one is better. I hope this is the modified version.
Sorry, but I kinda hate the wheels. Before were better, IMHO.
Not big on any of the mods… color, wheels, or spoiler.
I’m sorry, but I’m just not a fan of that spoiler. The wheels are OK, but the spoiler does not suit the car.
