Is there any way that the leather on these steering wheels can be restored to resemble the more ‘dull’ look? I prefer the look of the full leather far more than the shiny and worn-looking leather.
I would start by cleaning it. A magic eraser would be a good start and maybe steam too!
I’m also curious. Had my car interior detailed lately, but the results were not that good. So maybe I have to give it a go myself. Anyone have a golden tip?
See reply from HardcorePooka, mate. Seems like a shout.
P&S interior cleaner with scrub ninja pad for best results. If not, then just any interior cleaner with a microfiber cloth will do.
Clean it very well with a leather cleaner. Use a leather conditioner that leaves a matte finish, not a glossy one.
That’s oil from skin. There are some products designed for that. A car detailing place will also quickly sort it out for like 30 bucks.
