Car recommendations... looking for some advice

I’m looking for some car recommendations. I currently drive a 2016 B8.5 A4, which is a 2.0 TFSI manual saloon. I’ve been considering getting an A5 because I want something with the same or even more power and size. I love my A4, which makes me think about the S4, but I’m just not sure what to do next. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

I think moving to an A5 is a great choice. It has a nice blend of style and performance. Have you test-driven one yet?

Not yet, I’ve been busy with work, but I plan to check one out soon. I hope it feels as good as my A4.

Honestly, if you love the A4, the S4 could be a perfect upgrade. It has way more power and is still super comfortable.

Yeah, I’ve heard great things about the S4’s performance. Do you think the maintenance costs are much higher compared to the A4?

@Oli
They can be a bit higher, but it really depends on how you drive it. Regular maintenance helps a lot.

If you’re looking for something different, maybe consider a BMW or a Mercedes. They have some solid options too.

That’s a good point. I haven’t really looked into them much. Any specific models you’d recommend?

@Oli
For BMW, the 4 Series is nice, and for Mercedes, maybe the C-Class coupe. Both have a sporty feel.

I’ve been in your shoes before, and I ended up getting an S4. It’s such a fun car to drive. You might really enjoy it.

I appreciate the feedback. I’m definitely leaning towards either the A5 or S4. Just trying to make the right decision.

Just make sure to think about your needs. If you want something sportier, the S4 is definitely the way to go.

That’s true. I want something that’s still practical but also fun to drive. Thanks for the advice.
