What’s not to like about the mag ride?
I enjoyed having the several drive modes, but I usually choose dynamic. These coilovers provide a significant improvement in ride quality and comfort when compared to the magride (IMO). The cost of replacement was also an important consideration for me.
What is the cost of replacement? From mag ride to coil, or new mag ride?
And are these factory coilovers or aftermarket?
Factory coils are not really a thing. Also curious what the going rate for a coil over install are these days though
The local performance shop asked $750 for installation, setup, and alignment. I decided to undertake the task myself.
Coilovers and DCC delete cost me $1800, however I completed the installation myself. Audi charged me $3200 for a magride replacement.
What coilovers did you go with? I am on my third water pump at 36k miles
Bilstein b16. This will be my 4th time replacing the water pump on this platform. Twice on my GTI, and twice on this car. Not looking forward to it again.
