Dynamic Mode... do you use it all the time?

Do y’all drive your Audi’s in dynamic mode 100% of the time? I’ve been driving my SQ5 in dynamic because it lowers the suspension and makes it sound nice. I also like the way it steers and handles. What are your thoughts?

I’m in Individual pretty much 100% of the time. Everything is set to dynamic, except suspension which I set to comfort.

I switch back and forth between dynamic and ‘auto’ or comfort. It really depends on where I am and what I’m doing. For areas where there’s no chance to do any fun driving, I tend to leave it in comfort for a softer ride, lower shift points, and slightly better fuel economy. But once I hit the curvy country roads or a freeway on-ramp, I switch to dynamic.

Mostly drive in auto, and tap it into S when needed. Unless I’m actually driving, then I’ll put it in dynamic or RS1.

All. The. Time. That is why you purchased an S and not a regular Q5. Use it the right way.

I prefer it as well.

Dynamic if I’m alone or on the highway, but I am almost always in Sport transmission. I feel the input lag is too much when it’s not in sport transmission.

I leave it in Dynamic and M just about all the time, except when I take a trip. Then I switch to Comfort. If it were my daily, I would use other modes more.

I stay in comfort 100% of the time in my Q7, and drive smoothly so I can get the kids in the back seat to sleep for the entire trip.

I do individual. Suspension comfort, steering balance, drivetrain balanced, exhaust ‘present’, ride height normal. Then I shift into S when needed.

Individual, suspension in comfort, steering dynamic, sound quiet. I toggle between D and S as needed, or sometimes just in M. If I want burbles, I put it in dynamic. I’m on aftermarket springs, so dynamic can be a bit much.

Pretty much dynamic, definitely a difference.

Dynamic only if there’s room to do some fun driving, otherwise I don’t see the point.

When the car is warmed up, I’m 95% of the time in dynamic + sports mode with manual/paddle shifts. Long trips on the highway, I’m in comfort mode. It’s a weekend car though, so I only really take it out for fun.

I drive in auto on the highway; I use dynamic mode when I’m really driving the car.

I drove in RS mode everywhere I go.

Yes, for both of ours.

No, usually just auto.

I use comfort mode only until the ride is warm enough to crank it up a notch. For the most part, I drive in dynamic sport mode always. Something about hearing those little burbles downshifting.

I’m all over the place depending on where I’m driving and who I’m driving.
