High mileage A7 maintenance advice?

Hi guys, I got my Audi A7 C7.5 a year ago and absolutely love it. I tuned it to stage 2 dual pulley 4 months ago but didn’t actually abuse it much and have been enjoying it so far. I love this car—beautiful, powerful, enjoyable. I wanted to hear your advice about how to maintain it nicely and I wish it’ll run forever. It has 85k miles on it right now and I drove about 7k in the past year, zero issues, everything is in good shape. Here are my questions:

  1. What are some common parts failures I might face in the future? Should I just replace them before they break down?
  2. While we’re talking about maintenance—oil change, radiator fluid, coolant fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid—are there any recommendations about further maintenance to keep the car running well?

I would love to hear more insights or anything else you would mention. Thanks!

PCV, Tstat, water pump, trans fluid and filter change, motor mounts, control arms, carbon cleaning, timing chain tensioner. Those are all the areas you might encounter at that mileage. If you’re doing one of either the PCV, Tstat, or water pump, do all of them at the same time since it’s a blower-off job. Also, check for carbon buildup.

Thanks for the advice! I’m definitely gonna check that out. I was told to not touch the transmission since it’s ZF8; should I be doing the fluid change for it as well?

Probably, I’ll be doing that for mine as well soon.

Don’t forget to do all the fluids they claim to be lifetime. I typically do the lifetime stuff every 60k: transmission filter and fluid, transfer case, front and rear diffs, power steering fluid. Flush the coolant and refill. I have many high-mileage Audis in the family with nothing other than service items that they have needed. I also typically half the oil change intervals because we mostly have diesels, the normal service interval, proper filter and fluid drain from the sump, and in the interim, normally change the filter and extract from the dipstick and refill.
