Saw this Audi and can’t figure out if it’s an A6 or an S6. It’s debadged and has some custom work. Any Audi enthusiasts who can help spot the differences?
People hate on debadging, but I think up-badging is way worse. Debadging is just personal preference.

I like down-badging instead. Imagine putting an A4 badge on an RS7.

I’m thinking of putting an A1 badge on my S8.
@West
You should go with something like an A7L badge. It’s real, but only in China, and it’s pretty obscure.

Down-badging is underrated.

Throw a Jetta badge on there for fun.
@Toby
I’d love to put all kinds of random badges on my car.
@Toby
Too obvious. Try an A4 badge on an RS6 for a more subtle effect.

How do you take badges off without leaving marks? My A7 looks like a novel on the back.
@Asher
Use a heat gun to soften it up and then pry it off carefully.

I’d go with an A2 1.4 badge.

An S8 with a blacked-out Q3 badge would be interesting.
@Kari
I saw an Aston Martin with a Toyota iQ badge once.

Oh, that’s actually real. The Aston Martin Cygnet!

Honestly, both up-badging and debadging are pretty cringe.

That’s a funny comment coming from someone with your username.

If you’re gonna do it, go all in with an A4 TDI badge or something.
Regardless of which one it is, that car is beautiful.
Judging by the dual exhaust and rear diffuser, I’d lean towards it being an S6 with some mods. An A6 trying to look like an S6 would need a lot of replacements like rims and a different exhaust setup, which seems unnecessary when they could just get the real deal. Spoiler looks a bit aftermarket, though. Suspension might be adjustable with how close those tires are to the wheel well.
