I have a 2018 A5. The OE mounts are just starting to leak fluid. I looked at the OE parts catalog on audioem.com and it appears the left one (4m0199371fc) is discontinued. I know I need to replace them together and I’d like a matched set. FCP has Lemforder for the left with Lemforder right on BO. FCP also has a kit from 034 but it appears more sport focused. I’m looking for suggestions on brands with a similar NVH characteristics to my OEM mounts or a location to buy both sides.
I have the softer 034 mounts in my B7 A4 and they don’t seem to have any more vibration than the originals. I have the stiffer mounts in my B5 track car and you definitely don’t want those on a daily driver unless a bunch of vibration is okay.
@Harley
Thanks for the input! So, the softer ones are more like OEM? Just trying to figure out what to go for.

Yeah, that’s spot on. The softer ones are a good balance, especially for daily driving.
Thanks for the site suggestion. They have just the 034 street. Would an OEM right with a Lemforder left work or should I keep looking for a matched pair?

Lemforder makes the mounts sold by Audi, so if you have a Lemforder and an Audi mount, you essentially have two Lemforder mounts. It’s very possible the Audi logo is ground off the Lemforder branded mount but still visible.
I broke so many Audi motor mounts that I recommend getting the 034 street mounts. I put the 034 street mounts, their front snubber and transmission mount in my old B7 and never felt it was harsh or uncomfortable just felt more solid.
@Jordan
That sounds promising. Did you notice any difference in handling or comfort?

Not really, it just felt more solid. I didn’t break anymore mounts before I traded the car a few years later.
So, if I go with the 034 mounts, will it really be fine for daily driving? Just trying to avoid harsh vibes.

Absolutely, they’re designed for a balance between sport and comfort. You should be good!
I appreciate all the advice. Seems like I might lean towards the Lemforder or the 034 street mounts for sure. Thanks, everyone!
