Hello all! I have a 2010 Audi A3 8P S-Line in decent exterior condition but it doesn’t run. I want to get the most out of it before I send it to the scrap yard. What are some of the more valuable parts that I wouldn’t be aware of on this vehicle that would be worth taking off? I’m thinking about wheels & tires, radio, aftermarket parts, and interior pieces. Thanks!
You should definitely consider taking off the wheels and tires, as they can fetch a good price. Also, look into the headlights and taillights; they often have good resale value.
Don’t forget about the engine components if they are still in good condition. Things like the intake manifold, turbocharger, and any electronic modules could be worth selling.
Definitely check the interior! Seats, especially if they are leather, can be valuable. The dashboard and door panels might also have some demand.
If you have any aftermarket parts, those can be worth a lot to other enthusiasts. Make sure to take off anything that’s not stock, like upgraded exhaust systems or suspension parts.
Good idea to check the wiring harnesses too. They can be tricky to find, and people often look for those when doing swaps or repairs.
