I have retrofitted a box to my Audi A3 (5.8in MMI) so I can use Android Auto, but I’ve got an issue with scaling. All text, apps, and icons are quite small and hard to read. I don’t have any issues with CarPlay with an iPhone; scaling is perfect, but AA for some reason has a weird DPI. Is there any easy way to solve this? I’m struggling to find a solution.
Have you checked the settings in the Android Auto app? Sometimes there are options for display or scaling.

I looked, but I didn’t see anything that related to scaling. It seems to just be how it renders on the MMI.

That’s frustrating. Maybe try reinstalling the Android Auto app? Sometimes a fresh install can fix weird issues.
You could also try using different cables. Sometimes a bad connection can cause display issues.

I haven’t thought about that. I’ll give it a shot and see if it makes a difference.
Have you checked if your retrofit box has any firmware updates? Sometimes they release fixes for compatibility issues.

Good idea! I’ll check the manufacturer’s website for any updates.
