Should I get in bed with a 2017 Allroad?

I have always preferred wagons and I believe the moment has finally arrived. There’s a 2017 Allroad PP available at a local dealership, painted in Gotland Green, equipped with a 2.0 engine and has only been driven for 49k miles. Does anyone have any reason(s) to not pull the trigger? Had a 2013 A4 that needed a timing chain replacement and that bill left quite a bad taste. I’m not an expert on these cars, so I would appreciate some real-world insight rather than relying on random internet articles.

Little of the car’s history…

1st Owner - lease - 10k miles a year. Routine 10k maintenance on vehicle. Oddly brought in at 11k miles for an oil pan drain plug replacement. Before certifying it for the second sale at 31k miles, we replaced the water pump and thermostat.

2nd- driven 4k miles a year. Oil changed every 3k. Had an electrical system checked? at 36k.

Thanks for any input! **already put a deposit on it :joy:, needs to run through the dealership for inspection and any needs. I am not sure why I am trying to talk myself out of it

Take it. Service your German mistress to ensure a good life together. I am on my fourth allroad. I wouldn’t do anything else.

You won’t regret it. Maintenance is essential. I never had a problem with it.

Is a Yes. Wagons are always the correct answer!! You’ll enjoy it, and it’s quite rare (3240 sold in 2017). It will require DSG servicing every 40k. 2017 A4 Allroad with 54k miles that needs to be really solid.

I absolutely loved my '17 Allroad. I tuned it and used S4 brakes. Supersleeper, the ultimate dogmobile. Do it. That color is beautiful.
