Spent 7k on rotors and pads... worth it?

So I had to spend 7k on rotors, pads, oil, ATF, and filters… and honestly, I don’t regret it one bit. I know that sounds like a lot, but keeping everything in good shape is super important for how my car runs. Anyone else ever had to drop a chunk of change like this? What did you think afterward?

I totally get that. I dropped a good amount on my brakes last year and it felt like a lot at the time. But having peace of mind while driving makes all the difference.

Yeah, exactly. It’s like investing in your safety. I’d rather spend now than deal with issues later.

What do you mean by peace of mind? Like, did something happen before?

@Lior
I just felt my brakes were iffy before, you know? After replacing them, everything feels solid.

That sounds familiar. I had to spend a lot on my car too. It’s tough to swallow at first, but I think it’s worth it in the long run.

Same here. Once I got everything sorted, my car felt like new again. Best decision I made.

Wow, that’s a big investment. Did you do it all at once or was it over time?

It was all at once. I figured it was better to tackle everything together instead of piecemealing it.

I feel like that makes sense. It can be annoying to keep going back for repairs.

Did you notice a big difference after spending that much? Like, is the car running better?

Definitely. The brakes feel way more responsive now and the oil change was overdue, so everything’s running smoother.

I think it’s great that you feel good about it. Sometimes spending money on your car is just necessary, even if it hurts a bit.

Exactly. If you take care of your car, it’ll take care of you. I always say that.
