I have two BMWs, but am thinking about adding a third car. I got the chance to drive a 2017 Audi A6 S-Line for a few days, and I was impressed. The Bose sound system was amazing, and it had great acceleration—it felt like the real “ultimate driving machine.”
Before I decide, though, I am curious:
Is there anything I should be worried about with these cars? Also, what’s Audi’s most reliable engine from 2011 and up?
After dealing with an engine replacement in my 5 Series and not feeling much road presence with my 3 Series, I think I might be ready for a change from BMW.
I have an a6 2.0 and a BMW. the BMW is more fun to drive and sportier but the a6 is the better daily driver by far. if you get a 2.0, go 2016 or newer for the ea888 gen 3. its enough power to be a good daily
The c7.5 is my favorite body style for the money in the Audi lineup. I’m partial to the s6ended up with a ‘14 RS5 realizing I have zero need for four doors) but like others said the 3.0T has a good rep. They did make a 3.0T Competition that had the s6 seats and some other goodies. That would be a nice one to look out for if you’re into those extras, though I’m sure it’s a rare bird.
Depends on what ur budget is, you could get an s6 c7, or if u want something with better handling that you can put more power into with some money, a b8.5 s4 with the supercharged 3.0 (will be my next Audi)
