I had to replace the mechtronic unit, the water pump, and some hoses. Honestly, I don’t think I can give up on this car 
. Has anyone else been through this?
If you love it, keep it. Anything can run forever with enough $$$.
With enough $$$ anything is possible lol.
Hope you did the pcv, thermostat, carbon clean, etc while you were there! Those are next.

Only thing I haven’t done is carbon cleaning. I’ve had this one 6 yrs, been pretty good up until now

Thank you! I switch between bike racks and this box. I just ordered straight from Thule. You might have to act like it’s the Q5 to find the correct kit. I had to put in A4 to get my base mount—it was easier to do with someone else honestly but easy to do.
Roof boxes are pretty much universal fit once you have the rails installed. Lots of rail manufacturers, but personally, I prefer the car manufacturer rails.
Did you take it to Audi?
