What’s the most reliable RS3 engine? And what’s the most reliable RS5 engine

I am looking for an Audi and I wanted either a re3 or an rs5 I don’t know how reliable there engines and transmissions are.the year I wanted to get is between 2013 2016 for Audi what engine is most reliable and can still produce good power

The years you listed only has the 4.2L for the RS5. The RS3 has a few different 5 cylinders depending on the years

I am pretty sure rs models have only one engine type

Yeah but the rs5 has a 4.2l 8 cylinder and the 2.9l 6 cylinder

Yeah it obviously depends on the generation, b8 had the 4.2 v8 and the b9 has the 2.9 v6

I recently purchased a car at an insurance auction, therefore I was curious about the most dependable engine. Which one looks to have the fewest issues is all that matters to me; I don’t care about the price.
