The 2015 Audi Q5 2.0T had previously been adding oil every 1000-1500 miles without incident. Over the last month, I’ve suddenly received the add oil warning light every 200-300 miles, and after looking around online, I haven’t found anyone else having to add oil as regularly.
Both my local dealership and a private mechanic certified that there are no leaks. I’ve had spark plug troubles in the last year and had them replaced three times, but I’m not sure if this is related to the oil usage. When I arrived for my appointment, the dealership turned me away, telling me that this is a known issue and that I could just keep adding oil and “my engine won’t blow up or anything”.
What do you guys think?
