Here are some new shots of the B10 S5 Sportback and Avant. What do you all think about the design changes in this generation?
Picture number 2 makes it look sexy. However, just like Tinder, upon closer inspection with the rest of the pictures, it’s certified hot garbage. (jk it’s not that bad, but it’s 100% a step down from B8 through B9.5)
@Brady
Haha, harsh but fair! I think they were aiming for sleek, but maybe lost some of the original charm.
God, those white badges look even cheaper and more plastic-like than I was expecting. I’ll never understand how anyone thought this would be a step up from beveled black and chrome.

There’s the black optic package option too, and these photos are of the European spec – USA and Canada versions will look a bit different.

Ah, that’s good to know! Still wish they stuck with the classic badge look.
I definitely prefer the previous generation. B9.5 had a sharper, sportier look overall.
Wtf, those cheap-looking plastic vents

Yep, I get that. Some of these new design choices are a bit of a letdown.
Terrible. Such a step in the wrong direction for Audi design.
Most of it I like, but some things confuse me. Seeing them in person, they look good. The Sportback’s rear seems too high, with too much space between the bumper and ground – looks better on the Avant. Also, why is the S5 badge black on a car with the chrome pack? Avant in red is the best spec IMO.
@Zoren
Good eye! The red Avant really does stand out. Maybe they’ll tweak the bumper height in a future model.
@Zoren
Hope so! It would look so much better if they balanced out the height.
Not bad, but the lines are softer, and the overall design feels more rounded. I still prefer the B9 and B9.5 generations.
The B10s will be arriving between May and July of 2025, just confirmed in-store.

Sounds about right, with a facelift expected in 2027. The B10 currently has a tech edge over the next-gen C-Class and 3 Series, but BMW’s Neue Klasse (G50) might overtake it in 2026. The C-Class is also getting a facelift next year.
I hate to admit it, but these are growing on me!

Same! It’s like they look better every time I see them, even though I know I preferred the old models!
Honestly, it looks really good. Love the styling updates!

Finally, some positivity in here! I think there’s a lot to like.
