Just picked up a 3.0 C7 A6 which has efficiency, comfort, dynamic, and individual. I’ve never seen efficiency before. So far I’ve been switching between that and Dynamic. My Q5 was comfort always.
I set mine to Individual and have the Engine set to Auto, Suspension in Dynamic, and everything else on Comfort. Suspension in Comfort in this car feels too floaty.
RS1 (like dynamic) plus manual mode, always in the city. Highway I’ll switch to auto or comfort. I got used to paddles from my R8’s R-Tronic tranny. Paddles all the way. I paid extra for the snap, crackle, and pop, so I wanna hear and feel it.
Individual with all on dynamic except adaptive cruise control. ACC on dynamic is like you don’t know how to drive and only focus on the car in front. Unnecessary late and hard braking. And efficiency for the daily commute because it eases on the throttle, making it nicer to manage in traffic.
Always dynamic, always S.
I use dynamic most of the time unless I’m picking up one of my grandmothers, then I switch to comfort.
Economy everywhere. I will wait for the roasting.
I always have it in dynamic. Whether S or auto depends if I want to keep it in the power band. I have the TDI 190 hp.
I drive mostly individual which for me is sound = dynamic, steering = comfort, and suspension = comfort. I really don’t know if it makes a huge difference in terms of fuel efficiency, but I just like it the best like this.
Fast-driving aside, I use Dynamic Mode in my S4 when I need to maintain a moderate/low speed while downhill to avoid sitting on the brakes.
