I’m in the process of building my 2025 RS3, but I’m stuck on one thing—the color. I originally wanted an orange tone, but Audi no longer offers it for 2025, which is a bummer. I’m leaning toward something bold, but I’ve only seen these cars in pictures, and as we all know, colors never look quite the same in real life. I live in the DC area, and RS3s are pretty rare around here—seeing an actual car with different colors is almost impossible. So, I wanted to ask: What’s your favorite color for an RS3? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences.
Kemora Gray RS3 owner here, and let me tell you, that pearlescent gold flake in the sunlight is amazing. Depending on the light, it even shifts to a blue hue. Definitely one of the more dynamic colors I’ve seen on an Audi.
@Cal
That sounds incredible. I’ve heard great things about Kemora Gray, and it seems like a color that keeps surprising you. I’m starting to think it might be a good choice, especially if it changes with the light.
@Gale
Yeah, it’s definitely a unique color. You won’t regret it if you go for it. It keeps things interesting every time you take it out in different lighting.
I’m partial to black or Daytona Gray myself. My RS3 is black, but I’d recommend the RS package with red stitching to give it a little pop, otherwise the car can feel too black inside and out. Daytona Gray also gives a nice contrast with the black accents if you want something a bit more dynamic.
@Brooke
I do like the idea of black with red stitching. It’s a classic combination, but I get what you mean about it possibly being too much black. Daytona Gray seems like a great alternative for something still sleek but with more contrast.
@Gale
Exactly. Daytona Gray balances it out. You still get the sleek look, but the contrast with black trim really adds something special.
If the color matters a lot to you, I’d say go Audi Exclusive. It costs extra, but if you want something unique—like an orange—you might be able to get them to approve a custom color.

That’s a good suggestion. I’ve heard about Audi Exclusive but wasn’t sure how flexible they are with custom colors. I might have to talk to my dealer about it and see if it’s a possibility for an orange shade.
@Gale
Definitely worth asking. Sometimes you can get colors from Porsche or Bentley through the same group. If you’re set on orange, maybe check out Porsche’s Gulf Orange—it’s iconic and could be a great fit.
I used the German build sheet and my dealer accepted it to get me first in line. They told me delivery is around 5 months after placing the order. As for color, I’m leaning toward Kyalami Green. It’s bold and not something you see every day.
@Milan
Kyalami Green does look pretty striking. I like the idea of going with something bold since the RS3 is such a special car. I’ll keep that one in mind while I make my final decision.
I went with Turbo Blue on my 2022 RS3 and absolutely love it. I think it’s no longer available for 2025, but if it were, I’d recommend it in a heartbeat. If not, Kyalami Green would be a solid choice—it really stands out.
@Davi
Turbo Blue was one of my top choices, but I saw it was no longer available. Kyalami Green does seem like the next best option for something eye-catching.
