Grew outta my idiot phase and took those abominations off

No residue left over at all. Used a blow dryer to heat the adhesive then used a fishing line to “saw in between the turd and paddle shifter.

I’m just curious, why do you have 3 different SUVs of the same class? :thinking:

Well, to be honest, the Audi is my only car since I’m 17 years old. The rest belong to my dad, but I enjoy sharing content on them. As for why he went for all SUVs, his excuse is that he ‘enjoys the ride quality and safety at highway speeds.’ Although this is true, I just think he’s too tall to fit in a 911 or M4 :rofl:.

@Shai
You have a higher chance of rollover with an SUV versus a sedan, though.

@Shai
Which is funny because they all (in your flair) have worse ride quality and are less safe at highway speeds than equivalently sized sedans.

How do you mean by ‘less safe’? SUVs are worse in rollovers but better in front/rear-end crashes.

Not always. My family’s '22 NX350 (compact) is more comfortable than my '18 Mercedes E400 Coupe (mid-size).

@Shai
Imagine getting your son a brand-new Audi at 17 and then him coming online to make snide remarks about your height. Preserve your dad’s honor in front of people.

Dude’s not even fat, just tall. We tease each other like this.

@Shai
Fair enough. I thought you were some kind of car journalist. Your garage looks like a car review lineup, lol. Which SUV among the 3 is you and your dad’s favorite, and why?

He couldn’t decide which one to get.

You just lost 50 HP.

The Urus metal paddle shifters fit our cars. You’ll have to disassemble your wheel, though.

I installed these on my RS3, and it’s not for the faint of heart. There’s quite a bit of modification needed to get them to fit, although once done, they look amazing. There’s a company out there that makes a Urus paddle clone that fits perfectly and looks stock. I’ll try to find the link. If I had to do it again, I’d likely go that route.

RKX Urus Style Billet Steering Wheel Shift Paddles For Audi TT A3 RS3 – RKXtech I have them, and they’re fantastic. It does require removing and disassembling your steering wheel, but it’s not too bad—took me about 90 minutes.

@Storm
Dumb. The sticky ones from Amazon are $12.

@Storm
You can get them for half the price on AliExpress.
