One of the benefits I was anticipating when I recently leased a new Q8 e-tron was the seven days of Audi on-demand rentals that came with the purchase agreement. It appeared to be a fantastic addition, particularly in case you needed a backup car for a trip or wanted to test out a different model.
However I have noticed that as a service, all the dealerships in the area have silently stopped offering the Audi on demand. Given that it influenced my choice, it’s a little annoying.
Have you observed that your local dealerships are no longer offering this benefit?
We would frequently rent cars from AoD because of its proximity to Seatac. There were, I believe, thirty locations nationwide. Like you, I leased an Audi in February and was meant to receive my seven days free. Not long after the credits were viewed on the account, they simply vanished.
As of right now, I can only find seven places for AD. If you can utilize any of the credits, I’ll be shocked. Whether we pressed Audi USA, I don’t know whether they would make up for it in any manner.
I can’t believe I missed that. I should have examined the website, but I was only checking through their app. Thank you for pointing it up; it certainly clarifies things (though not in the way I had hoped). And it’s not a good picture if customers are not informed.
I used AoD in Chicago and had an excellent experience.
I received a brand-new 2023 Q5 P+ with 17 (yes, seventeen) kilometers on it. I could also combine a $100 off $400 American Express offer with my 25% off Audi owner discount.
I was about to book one for my boss the other day because he was heading to Chicago to see family, but I realized it was unavailable. And is now only available at seven dealerships in Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Texas, down from a formerly large number.
Unfortunately, it’s going away. It was significantly less expensive than a dreadful Enterprise (or comparable rental agency) rental and far more pleasant.
I think it just didn’t get used enough to justify the existence and overhead of running the program. I was bummed when they yanked our location but realistically never used any of the 14 days I had haha
