I have a 2017 Audi Q3 and replaced the last battery in November 2022, which is less than 2 years ago, and it just died this morning; I believe a car battery should last at least 4 to 5 years
My 2016 A4 still has the original one. So far, there have been no problems. Last year, in -25°C, my TDI fired up like it was summer, and I also had an additional large subwoofer with a 1000w amp running.
Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t, but if you have a warranty, you should be able to return it. However, environmental factors have the most significant impact. Good luck
If you connect your battery to a battery tender when it is parked in the garage or not being driven for an extended period of time, it will live much longer. I have tenders for everything with a battery.
On average, it is recommended to replace every 4-5 years. However, it depends on the environmental conditions.Sometimes longer, sometimes not. Always choose the highest CCA that will fit.
