How to find out what tune is on my 2013 Audi S6?

I just bought a 2013 C7 Audi S6 and it came with a tune. However, I have absolutely no idea what’s been done to the car electronically. There are no bolt-ons, no exhaust, etc. How can I find out what’s been done to the car, such as the tune?

Congrats on the purchase! You can check with a local tuner or performance shop. They can usually read the ECU and tell you what tune is installed.

Thanks! I’ll look into that. I just want to know what I’m working with.

Another option is to use a VAGCOM or similar diagnostic tool. It can often reveal the tune info directly from the ECU.

I’ve heard of that! I might invest in one if it’s not too pricey.

Sometimes the previous owner might have left info in the glovebox or with the paperwork. It’s worth checking!

Good idea! I’ll dig through all the paperwork I got with the car.
