I keep getting an alert for low pressure tires, but I checked them and they are at the correct pressure level. Can it be because of cold weather? Should I be worried? This is happening on my 2024 S3.
That totally can be due to cold weather. Keep in mind that the recommended PSI is a COLD pressure, so if you’re checking the pressure after driving for a bit, it will be inaccurate and read higher than it actually is. Check it first thing in the morning before driving anywhere.
Thanks. I will check again in the morning. I was on the road and I stopped at the gas station. Tires look good. The weather is about 50F.
Did you go to the MMI settings and press store current tire pressures?
Yes, I did, and it came up again after an hour of driving.
Temperature and elevation changes can do this. It happened to my A4 as well as my current S4. Nothing to be worried about, especially if it shows the error on all tires at the same time.
