Lol. Same. :o) But I do have a B9. Did they not have the charger in the B8?

My B9.5 doesn’t due to the chip shortage.
@Zuri
There is, but it mostly serves to cook the phone till it shuts down from overheating. It’s dogshit. Get USB-C cable for when you need to charge, otherwise just let it chill in the cup holder. Even better - leave it in your pocket and don’t look at your phone while driving.
@Evren
My phone never shuts down. It does get warm, sometimes, though.
But I agree - nobody should need to be looking at their phone while driving in a modern car. I can’t think of any sensible reason to do it.
As you say that the CarPlay is all working fine, just put it in your pocket. That should help you with your problem. If you wear something without pockets, then maybe a compartment in the center console underneath the armrest and behind the gear selector or the glove box would be best. Just don’t forget it.
@Baylor
I don’t like the holder at all, but I also hate having stuff in my pockets.
IMO, this is what the center console is designed for, or the door sill, for pocket stuff.

Yeah, that would make sense, but each to their own. I’m so used to having things in my pockets that I don’t even realize they’re there anymore.
The center console should be used for things like phones, etc. I’d hope that’s what it’s designed for at least.
What’s the need for a phone holder? It’s horrible.
The wireless CarPlay works great. I’m just looking for a place to put my phone for easy access. I don’t like putting it in the center console or between my legs.

I am using an iOttie MagSafe charger that clips onto the air conditioning vent in my C7.5. I usually only use it for longer trips while navigating so my battery doesn’t die; otherwise, I keep my phone in my pocket and let wireless CarPlay do its thing (using a wired to wireless adapter as my 2017 doesn’t support wireless natively).

I leave it in my pocket.

Same man. There’s nowhere safe for a phone in the RS6; it bashes around in the cup holders, and anywhere else it’s going to end up on the backseat. I’ve been trying to find something to MagSafe my phone to, only reason to keep it sturdy in one place.

It’s ok - you can do without your phone for the 15 minutes it will take you to get anywhere in that rocket ship.

I put it in the visor on the passenger side
