Here are official photos of the new Audi Q5. What do you all think?
I do not believe it looks “bad,” but it is quite uninspiring. I would have wanted to see more similarities to the B10 A5 Avant; this feels extremely safe and bland in comparison.
I agree. The air vents also give the impression that it has big cheeks.
This, plus to round…
To round…what? To round the corners? To round the edges?
Or did you mean “too round”?
Why wouldn’t they put the exhaust in the molded plastic part instead of under it
Yes, it would be a lot more pleasing design. I kind of that the front central grill reached further down on the bottom, like the Q8.
It’s so it can face down, correct? Significantly reduces emissions.
As with the Q6 and A5, I’m bothered by the large plastic chunk on the right side of the central display. The exterior is disappointing.
When it comes to the touch screen plastic framing, the interior design language is very similar to that of KIA.
So exactly the same as Q6 then? I can’t tell the difference.
As someone who enjoys the current Q5 design, this appears to be a refined modern version. Having said that, it is clear that the Q6 received a larger development budget and greater design freedom than the Q5. I’m unsure whether that’s good or terrible
I am sad that Audi is abandoning knobs and buttons in favor of touch screens. Also, I dislike the shift buttons. It reminds me of the Honda/Acura family of vehicles. One of the primary reasons I won’t purchase one of those.
