Just picked up this bad boy: 2008 3.2 V6, 90k miles, got it for $1,600. Soft top separated from the back glass along the top, so I’ll need to fix that. The oil level sensor, as well as lots of light/bulb errors, are being thrown. She’s in pretty good shape though, and I’m super excited to fix her up! Ironically enough, the hood release broke on day one, so I haven’t been able to open it yet.
1600 for this is a huge steal; I wouldn’t care what issues it had.

I agree! Fully runs and drives just fine. New front pads are on the way.
Beautiful vehicle, $1,600 is nothing. Congratulations.
Something about a short wheelbase coupe just does it for me.
How does the VR6 do in the TT? I can’t imagine it’s straining at all.

It’s pretty peppy! I’ve got a tuned N55 BMW though, which is hard to compare a stock V6 to.
Oh boy, that’s a beautiful car. This was the first Audi I ever wanted, but I ended up with a 2014 A5. I love Audi.
Congrats! $1,600 for a beautiful car like that is a steal.

Thanks!! I feel like I stole it.
Man, that reminds me of my 2008 TT. Sounds like you got an awesome deal. Congratulations.
Dude, for $1.6K, that’s incredible. Congrats!

Thanks! Really happy to have some wiggle room to put into maintenance.
Upvote for the convertible!

I was never a fan of convertibles before, but after owning this, I dig them! I love the look of it with the top down and the retractable wing up.
That’s a huge deal… and looks great. Those plush leather seats are in amazing condition! Are you a mechanic or really good with fixing cars, or will you bring it somewhere? I’d love to know what’s needed to be fixed and cost when it happens.
