Just picked up a 2022 A6 Allroad for the family since our old MK7 GTI wasn’t cutting it anymore. I flew down to Santa Ana to grab it from Fletcher Jones Audi and drove it back up to Seattle along the Pacific Coast Highway. Honestly, it’s the most comfortable car I’ve ever driven. We even camped in the car, and it handled the space like a champ. Loving it so far, especially with the B&O system to keep me entertained during the drive. Here are some pics (sorry for the crop, vertical format isn’t ideal).
Having the money for a hotel but sleeping in the car, I guess you really love your Audi

Spent all my money on an overpriced wagon
You’re doing fine… nothing wrong with sleeping in the car. I’ve done it myself. Next time, just say you’re ‘getting closer to nature,’ lol. Seattle folks love camping, after all.
Oh that’s awesome! I’ve done the SoCal to Seattle drive a few times. The Oregon coast, especially north of Florence, is stunning.

Yeah, the southern half of the Oregon coast was jaw-dropping. I’d only driven as far as Tillamook before, but going further… wow.
This is dope! I did a similar road trip in my '13 allroad from LA to Vancouver back in 2017. It’s the perfect road trip car.

Back in 2007, I did it on the I5 in an S2000. Definitely not a great road trip car
@Paxton
Your back must’ve hated you after that one
Funny, first thing I thought was this car would look so much better with a tint. I’ve got a white S5 Sportback with black rims, and it looked way better once I tinted the windows (at least to me).
These look so good. Why go for a high-end SUV when this exists?
You’re using the wagon properly. I’ve even slept in my 2011 S5. Put on some music with the B&O, lay back, and it’s like a cozy mini-camp!
In-N-Out is a west coast cult classic, especially in Cali. OP was probably just soaking in the full Cali experience with the burger stop.

In-N-Out is definitely a California institution. It felt right to make it part of the trip.
