Hi, before any further information I want to say that I’m not really a mechanic but I have some knowledge in general cars. It might be a dumb question, but it’s been a few months that I’ve been searching for an RS7 C8 and I recently saw one that’s been crashed. I wonder if repairing it would cost more or less than a used one. I’ve attached a photo below. Thank you all for reading this.
Honestly, it really depends on the extent of the damage. Have you checked how much repairs would be?

Yeah, I agree. Sometimes it’s better to buy used instead of fixing a wrecked one.
@Cortland
IDK, it might be worth it if the price is right. Did you get a quote yet?
I’ve heard that parts for the RS7 can be pretty pricey. You’ll want to weigh that against the cost of a used one.

True, and sometimes insurance can help with those costs if it’s a total loss.
If it’s just bodywork, that might be manageable, but if it’s structural damage, run away.

Good point. Structural repairs can get super expensive. Did you see the damage in person?
You might find a forum or a Facebook group for RS7 owners. They can give you better insights on repairs.

That sounds like a good idea! I’ll definitely look into that.
Also, consider the resale value after repairs. Sometimes it’s just not worth it.

Right? You don’t want to end up losing money in the long run.
